• Certification Details
• Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License.
  • Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ICU nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2 years experience in ICU.
    • Previous travel experience is preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7.
      • Self-scheduling used but not always guaranteed.
      • Weekend Requirement: every other.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
        • Ratios: 1 to 1-2.
        • EMR: Cerner.
        • Tele/Monitor Techs: Phillips - they will have a monitor tech if above a certain census, nurses are required to read and interpret tele strips.
        • Drips: Norepinephrine, precadex, epinephrine, vasopressin, etc.
        • Vents: Puritan Bennette 840.
        • IV Team: No.
        • RT 24/7: Yes.
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes.
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: neuro trauma, cardiac - surgical, open heart, post cath, aortic dissection, fem pops, thoracotomies, CRRT, Etc.
          • Additional Details
          • COVID Vaccine Required.
          • Weekend Requirement: every other.
          • Holidays: they will work them in with perm staff rotation.
          • Scrub Color: navy.
          • Floating: They will have to float to AG to work ICU.
          • Floor specific orientation: 1 shift.
