Job Description:
A company is looking for a VA Claims Specialist to investigate
and resolve health insurance claims related to Veterans' Affairs,
ChampVA, and Tricare.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve claims for Veterans' Affairs, ChampVA, and
Tricare
File correct UB04's and 1500 HCFA's with subrogation information
for payment
Conduct timely follow-up activities to determine claim status and
maintain proper account documentation
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least one year of experience in a professional office
environment; health insurance billing preferred
Experience handling a large volume of phone calls to collect
information
Ability to work in Eastern (EST) or Central (CST) time zone
Must reside in specified states within the United States
