Job Description:

A well known and respected seafood distributor has an immediate need for a Sales Representative / Account Executive.

Sales Representative- Seafood Industry

Location: Westlake Village

Salary: $50-60K plus commissions

**Must have seafood experience**

Duties:

Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Builds client relationships through networking, expands those relationships by developing into all areas of the company.

Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Contacting leads and following through with opportunities to gain new clients.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience:

3+ years in the seafood or food related industry

Self-starter and sales motivated
